Upon hire, we dive straight into the start-up process by exploring immediate ways we can bring healthier food and lifestyle choices to students, families, and local community members through the Magnolia Agriscience Community Center (MACC), also known as the MACC Farm. The first week is full of ideation, design thinking, pitching, decision-making, collaboration, and strategy all in preparation to sell at our weekly Farmer’s Market. The weeks to follow include designing marketing material, creating your product, canvasing the local community to spread the word, and working on the MACC Farm to learn agricultural practices.
